It gives me a great pleasure to invite your Amateur Muaythai boxers to participate the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS’2004 – CHIANGMAI, THAILAND which will be held from 6th -13 th April 2004 in CHIANGMAI, THAILAND.
For your convenience, the Organizing Committee will provide all local transportation to and from airport to hotel and to the competitive venue.
I expect all of your boxers participating in our big events and having an enjoyable stay in CHIANGMAI, THAILAND.

7. Entry and registration :
A) Entry by number
“A” form must be forwarded through the respective national boxing association and reached to the Responsible Organizers of Thailand no later than 24.00 hours March 1st .
B) Final entry by name
“B” form must be forwarded through the respective national boxing association and reached to the Responsible Organizers of Thailand no later than 24.00 hours March 15th.
Any change or additional entry cannot be accepted after this time.
8. Participants :
A) Each country participating in the team competition can enter 14 Weight Classes.
B) Entry Fee : The entry fee is US $30.
C) Team : Must be the national Team. (not representatives of IFMA , IMTF.)


9. Referee/ Judge :
Participating delegations can use “Machine Judging” according to the Rules and Regulations of Amateur Muaythai Association of Thailand.
10. Protests :
A) Appeal against decision of R/J should be immediately made by the team manager to the Jury.
B) Event appeal to the Jury of Appeal must be accompanied by a deposit of US $100.
11. Prize :
A) Medal & Diploma will be rewarded to the 1st , 2nd , 3rd places in each Category. Gold medal will be extra awarded.
12. Accommodation :
Pang Suan Kaew (including breakfast)
Twin : US $30 (1 person / a night) $ 30 (US)
Single : US $40 (1 person / a night) $ 40 (US)
Remark : Lunch and dinner will be available at the restaurants near the hotel, venue or snack bar by the competition area.
13. Flags / Anthems :
Please bring audio - cassetle tape or CD of your national anthem, and two (2) national
flags (72 cm. × 120 cm.).
14. Transportation Service :
The responsible organizers will provide local transportation in connection with Tournament.

Wieso frech?

Ok es ist die WMF Weltmeisterschaft, die ja wohl ein zusammenschluss von IMTF und IFMA ist.

Der MTBD hat ja bereits eine Nationalmannschaft aufgestellt wie wir wissen.
Jetzt frag ich mich halt, wenn der R.Kussler und der K.Waschkewitz (MUD) auch eine Einladung erhalten haben eine Nationalmannschaft aufzustellen wie das funktionieren soll...

Ist das nicht genau das, was der User "Miles" dem User "Siamfighter" gestern vorgeworfen hat? Das jedes Thema sofort in Verbandspolitik ausartet? Und das der Sport dabei in den Hintergrund gerät? Hmm...

mag ja sein, aber was ist es denn wenn verschiedene Personen, die verschiedene Organisationen vertreten, eingeladen werden eine Mannschaft aufzustellen?

Auf jeden Fall eine Sache des Einladenens.
Oder eine Absicht, "eine" Mannschaft, egal welche Organisation, aufzustellen?
Oder halt mehrere Mannschaften aus verschiedenen Organisationen, die zusammen für ein Land antreten?
Fehlt dir da so die Phantasie?

Vielleicht muessen sie es ja, obwohl sie es nicht wollen......

Ich finde es komisch, dass alle Welt in den verschiedenen Kampfsportverbänden (egal welcher KS) über den wahren Weltmeister streitet, wenn jetzt "eine" WM stattfindet, ist es auch nicht recht.

Ich finde, um den Sport willen ist der eingeschlegene Weg (dh eine Weltmeisterschaft fuer alle) richtig, auch wenn es den verschienedenen Verbandschefs nicht passt, weil jeder zwangsweise dadurch Kompetenzen verliert.


(Leute zerreisst micht nicht, denn ich habe keine Ahnung von den Verbandsstreitigkeiten und sie sind mir auch egal)

Klar soll eine Mannschaft aus den verschiedenen Verbänden zusammengestellt werden um eine Vereinigung zu erzielen, aber dennoch muss das koordiniert werden, weil es wohl kaum sinnvoll ist erst drei Mannschaften (MTBD,MUD,GMTF) nach Thailand zu fliegen um dann dort zu entscheiden (und wer entscheidet denn dann?) wer Deutschland vertritt, oder?

Da fehlt mir ehrlich gesagt wirklich die Fantasie.

Ich dachte einfach, da Ralf offensichtlich über Insiderinformationen verfügt, er ist schliesslich eingeladen worden, ich frag einfach mal wie das ablaufen soll, da D.Thürnau auf nem Meeting in Bangkok ist und somit eine Kontaktaufnahme sich etwas schwierig gestalten dürfte.

Aber eigentlich hast Du recht, es wird sich ja ziemlich bald zeigen was da passiert.

Ach und auf das was der User Miles postet hab ich keinen Einfluss. Der ist auch schon alt genug um seine eigene Meinung zu haben.

aus verschiedenen Verbänden

Kriegen wir sowas überhaupt noch hin.?

Oder machen wieder einige einen alleingang ?

Wie wäre es wenn sich im Amateur Bereich mal alle an einen Tisch setzen

Im Profi Bereich soll jeder seine Schäfchen hüten.
