Standard Aleksander Shlemenkos Ansprache an die MMA fans

"hi everyone. i want to talk on a problematic topic about supporting our fighters who fought on 14th october on m-1in america. it's arthur guseinov, it's maxim grishin, it's mikhail zayats. guseinov actually doesn't need support since he won. i don't think anyone has something bad to say about him. he won fast and beautifully. other fighters have it more difficult. they lost and i ask everyone to support them.

i open the internet, watch their fights and see a lot of comments, a lot of critics: "he is a can", "what is he doing", "why is he doing that". i want to ask, why are you doing that? the fighter is already in a difficult situation. he understands everything. he understands that he made a mistake, he understands that he could do it better, he understands that he failed. you should support him so he can continue. we don't have that many russian fighters, especially on a higher level. we almost have none. we need more fighters but how are we going to get them after such comments?

a fighter lost and you continue to kick a downed fighter, so he stays depressive. it's already hard enough for him. none of you specialists from the internet who write all the crap, asked how a fighter is living. does he have enough money or food or equipment? none have asked but everyone is criticising.

i want to say that it's very hard to come out and fight. it's very hard and not everyone can do it. believe me. we, i'm talking for the fighters, don't take anything away from you. we would be happy to see you fight. go and show us if you are such specialists. specialists on training, specialists on weight cutting. for every topic there are specialists who know everything.

i just want to say again, i don't want to teach anybody in my video blogs, i just share my experience. for people who need my advices. they are living in my hometown omsk, they are living in russia. a lot of people. but there are people who don't like it, maybe they are jealous. they start writing crap. if you don't like the video blog than don't watch it.

i want to ask again to support our fighters. they did what they could. they are having a very difficult time right now, believe me. i say it as a person who was himself in the cage and who knows how it goes.

also want to say about my fight with brian rogers. i also read some comments that i was lacking speed and something else. you know i never claimed to have an exceptional speed, to have an exceptional strength. i'm a normal human. like millions of others in russia. the only thing that differs me from them is that i have the courage to go in the ring and show what i can. maybe i do it good, maybe i do it bad but i'm doing it. and the most people sit there, act like smartasses and do nothing. think about your life, why are you doing it.

support to our fighters, don't pay attention to them. everything will be fine. know that guys who train mma, who fight alongside you in the tournaments, they are cheering for you and supporting you. and they will always support you, win or lose. because we are bonded together that we found strength, courage and went into the ring and proved that we can fight.

bye everyone."
