CATEGORIES

White belts:
Male: -64, -70, -76, -82.3, -88.3, -94.3, -100.5, 100.5+ kg and absolute category
Female: -58.5, -69, 69+ kg

Blue belts:
Male: -64, -70, -76, -82.3, -88.3, -94.3, -100.5, 100.5+ kg and absolute category
Female: -58.5, -69, 69+ kg

Elite (purple, brown and black belts):
Male: -64, -70, -76, -82.3, -88.3, -94.3, -100.5, 100.5+ kg and absolute category
Female: absolute category

FBJJF supports the gold medalists of all blue belt and elite weight classes (20 total) with plane tickets to BJJ Mundial 2012. Male blue belt and elite absolute categories are not included. FBJJF support is for the individual athlete and the ticket may not be transferred or sold.

All medalists in male weight categories are eligible to register for the absolute category. Only weight category registration is available prior to the competition.

Weigh-in will be with the kimono right before the first fight. If a fighter does not make the weight, he/she will be disqualified.

Allowed kimono colors are white, blue and black. The jacket and the pants must be of the same color. Allowed patch locations can be found on the IBJJF website.


RULES
IBJJF official rules at International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation.
Elite categories will be fought under purple belt rules.


FIGHT TIME
White Belts: 5 min
Blue Belts: 6 min
Elite (purple, brown and black belts): 7min


PARTICIPATION FEE AND ENROLLMENT
Participation fee is 50€/competitor paid in advance to the account below.

International payments: Message in the bill must be the fighters name, academy and fight category.

If the academy pays for all their competitors they can send the list of the paid competitors to info@bjjliitto.fi.


INSURANCE
Competition organizer does NOT insure the fighters.

For Finns: Kaikilla kilpailuihin osallistuvilla suomalaisilla tulee olla SBJJL:n kilpailijalisenssi vuodelle 2012.


SPECTATORS
Spectator fee is 10€/day.
