Folgendes fand ich auf der WMC Homepage www.wmtc.nu, besonders wenn man den letzten Abschnitt liest, lässt dies Konsequenzen für Deutschland vermuten:
History has been made and the MUAYTHAI War is finally over.
Unification! IAMTF, IFMA create new world body.
The newly formed amateur world govening body,
World Muaythai Federation (WMF).
Today, October 8th 2003, in an historic move, IFMA and the IAMTF overcame their differences and joined together to form the World MuayThai Federation (WMF) Meetings and discussions have taken place in Thailand and in all member countries, over the last 2 months, to bring this day to pass. It is hoped by all concerned that this new body will bring Amateur MuayThai to a new level and begin steps towards a place in the SEA Games, the Asian Games and ultimately to the Olympics.
A final meeting has been held yesterday between representatives from the IAMTF and IFMA to work out the final contract details.
