The Amsterdam Open 2010 will be on Sunday October 24th.
THE WINNER OF EACH BLUE BELT CATEGORY WILL WIN A ZONA GI!!
THE WINNER OF EACH ELITE CATEGORY WILL WIN A BLACK EAGLE GI!!
All early registrations will receive the Amsterdam Open 2010 t-shirt!!
RULES & FIGHT TIME
The point system of the IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (http://www.ibjjf.org/rules.htm)) will be used.
White Belt fights will last 5 minutes. Blue Belt fights will last 6 minutes.
Elite (Purple & Up) fights will last 7 minutes.
(If a purple belt faces a brown or black belt, purple belt rules will be applied)
PRIZES
Medals will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
The winner of each blue, elite or open class will win a gi.
There will be a trophy for the Best Team.
WEIGHT CLASSES & REGISTRATION
Men: -70kg, - 76 kg, - 82.3kg, -88.3 kg , -94.3 kg , -100.5 kg, + 100.5 kg
Women: -60kg and +60kg
(Weight categories and weigh-in are with gi)
Early registration until October 3rd
The fee for early registration is € 25 and gives right to a Amsterdam Open 2010 t-shirt.
Payment is possible by using bank deposit or Paypal.
Early registration will close on Sunday October 3rd.
Late registration until October 17th
The fee for late registration is € 25 and is only possible by payment using Paypal.

If you haven’t paid and subscribed before the deadline, please do not come to the competition to try enrolling on the day itself, for this will be not be accepted.

Wednesday 20 October will be registration check day.

WEIGH-IN & FIGHT SCHEDULE
A schedule with the start time of all categories will be available at our site on
Thursday October 21st
THE WEIGH IN WILL BE JUST BEFORE YOU STEP ON THE MAT FOR YOUR FIRST FIGHT.
The athletes must be at the warm up area, according to their fight schedule.
The athlete can only enter in the fighting area when called by the official.
In case of victory the athlete must return to the warm up area, and remain there till the next fight.
CHEAP HOSTEL
There is a nice and cheap hostel in the centre of Amsterdam. Rates are around 25 euro and you can book a room at: Stayokay | Book hostels online (http://www.stayokay.com/index.php?&language=en)
If you want to stay in a hotel close to the centre and central station, we recommend the Victoria Hotel.
