Via Improbable Research (http://improbable.com/2011/03/12/savate-sil-vous-plait/)
Historic footage of savate, a French style of boxing. The first film clip offers historic British commentary. The narrator says: “After the recent British heavyweight box contests, let’s take a look a the French ring, where men are men. On the left, Battling Gaston, the brutal bruiser. On the right, Pretty Pierre, who packs a punch in his left foot…. See how the boys, in going all out for a knockout, get a kick out of it.” The second film clip is a contrasting French view of the sport, in particular of the Roger Lafond method. (Thanks to investigator Violette Anton for bringing this to our attention.)
Ein wenig Kritik von den britischen Brüdern ;-)
Dennoch interessantes Material wie ich finde, auf jeden Fall das 2. Video.
