"Well for those of you who missed it, which is I guess nearly everybody, Royce of course managed to win (armbar, 2nd round), after playing around through the first round, but then getting a nasty cut above his right eye in the second round, which is what forced him to end it then. He was bleeding like a stuck pig from that. I guess they butted heads at some point. Looks like he'll need stitches as it was kind of long and deep. Rodrigo (his second) looked a little glum when he saw the cut. Hope he didn't have any real fights scheduled soon."

Royce´s Gegner war:
Bobby is a Nigerian guy that has a small part on the above mentioned program usually doing weird things with broken, and funny Japanese. A few weeks ago he went to a Judo dojo and owned one of the guys.....they then went to an ex olympic ( forgot his name but not Yoshida ) judoka`s dojo, and impressed him too. About two weeks ago they went to Kikuta`s dojo and again he did damned well, to the point Kikuta said ( no doubt it had already been discussed and worked out....I mean this is TV ) he`d set up a real fight. They then announced it was Royce he`d be fighting, and that show was a special shown tonight.
( note, and times are broadcast times.......Royce evidentally agreed to fight whilst he was in Australia doing his seminars )
Bobby is a Nigerian guy who is in a kind of "whacky gaijin who can never get Japanese right" kind of role on this weekly variety show. A white guy who grew up in Japan, Thane Camus (I heard somewhere he is a grandson of famed, ill-tempered Frenchman Albert) is like the Japanese language and culture "teacher" to a couple of nutty African guys. Comedy ensues weekly. Anyway, Bobby is pretty athletic and pretty strong -- 93 kilos and pretty cut. They showed him benching 110kg repeatedly while cracking jokes at the beginning of this whole training episode thing a few weeks ago. Anyway, he says he is intrigued by Bob Sapp's success in Japan and wants to give MMA a try, so... they set him up with some training with some Pancrase guys, and set up a "fight" for him with Royce. Fun, fun, fun.
I'll bet Royce is a bit pissed he got a cut like that in a joke-for-tv event...
