This is a drill I learned from Paul Vunak years ago. It includes many of the trapping techniques that I have incorporated into my fight game. For the uninitiated, trapping is a range of fighting (clinch range) and a series of techniques that allow you to momentarily stop your opponents attack so that you may enter into a striking range and execute an attack of your own. This video is from a test and training session.
Once you become proficient, the speed picks up, the lines of attack become angular, and the application of pressure becomes constant.
The flow is as follows:
Person 1 Pok Sao
Person 2 Joa Soa to ear
Person 1 Tan Soa -- Punch
Person 2 Jut Soa -- punch
Person 1 Kwon Soa Inside pok to biceps- throat strike
Person 2 Forearm Trap Joa Soa to Kidney
Backfist to face
