What is UWM’s vision?
UWM’s vision is to reignite weapons based martial arts that have been practised and developed over thousands of years and using modern technology create a new, global combat sport and entertainment experience.

What makes UWM unique or different?
Until now the opportunities for weapon-based martial artists to compete in true, full combat have been limited due to the fear of serious injury, and the inability to objectively determine the outcome.

UWM’s highly advanced, intelligent armour can withstand high impact strikes from real but blunt martial arts weapons. The armour also encapsulates technology that calculates the force and location of each strike to determine in real time who the winner would have been if the competitors were unprotected.

Not since the age of the Colosseum have large scale audiences been able to watch live, full contact, weapons based combat in a dynamic format. UWM will change this forever.

Aha und weil die Anzüge ja soviel aushalten nehmen die anstatt echter Schwerter oder Macheten dann doch wieder irgendwelche pseudorealistischen Latexknüppel oder was? ;)

Und die Bewegungsfreiheit lässt ja nun auch sehr zu wünschen über.

Ich lehne mich mal weit aus dem Fenster:
UMW wird die Welt nicht verändern - ich glaube nicht mal das sie es bis ins TV schaffen... :D

Für die Erfindung der Ritterrüstung sind die aber 600 Jahre zu spät dran. :cool:
Würde mich auch mal interessieren, wie denen`n ordentlicher steifer Tsuki zur Kehle schmeckt. 90% des Gewirbels da kann man auch mit ner simplen Fechtmaske wegstecken.
