Euros IBJJF 2026

Denise Krahn gewinnt die Adult Black Belt Klasse und wird damit der zweite deutsche Schwarzgurt nach Charlotte von Baumgarten in 2019, die überhaupt ins Finale einer Adult Class kommt und das dann auch noch gewinnt. Im Halbfinale gewinnt sie durch Submission gegen die Nummer 1 der Klasse und im Finale besiegt sie die Nummer 2 und Vorjahressiegerin (beide aus Brasilien). Zuvor hatte Denise ihre Viertelfinalgegnerin auch durch Submission besiegt.
Denise hat letztes Jahr bei den Worlds No Gi als erste(r) deutsche(r) Athlet(in eine Goldmedaille in der Black Belt Klasse (Master) gewonnen.

Was mir aufgefallen ist: dies waren technisch und kämpferisch die besten und härtesten Euros, die ich je gesehen habe. Viele Hoffnungsträger sind schon in der ersten Runde raus, wenige haben überhaupt eine Medaille geholt. Euros sind das zweitgrößte IBJJF Turnier, dem zufolge kommen auch die großen Namen und alle kämpfen richtig hart und technisch. Es ist das Turnier, bei dem man auffallen will und es gibt in der zweiten Runde kaum noch Sportler(innen), die mal eben so zum Hobby vorbei kommen.

Meinen Glückwunsch und Respekt an alle Teilnehmer! Ihr habt ein Wahnsinns-Event gekämpft. Großen Respekt an alle Medaillenträger/innen!

Als ich 2012 mit BJJ angefangen habe, waren in De Purple Belts noch Halbgötter und kaum jemand auf internationalem Niveau.
Schön, dass es immer besser und beliebter wird.

Ja. Im Halbfinale war es die Nummer 1, dann im Finale Ingridd (auf Platz 2 gesetzt). Ingridd und Denise sind früher schon 2 mal aufeinander getroffen, beide Male hatte Ingridd gewonnen, beim letzten Mal sehr knapp. Diesmal hat es für uns gereicht :)

The Hilti BJJ athlete began her competition with a quarterfinals matchup against Luana Soares. Denise remained adamant to get into her dangerous guard position, successfully pulling directly into a leg entanglement position and finishing with a beautiful kneebar. Denise then entered the semifinals against the division’s top-seed, Maria Vicentini. Again determined to play from her back, Denise utilized a high guard to entangle both of Maria’s arms, ultimately finishing an armbar to move into the finals. Ingridd Alves, the reigning medium-heavyweight European Champion, awaited Denise in the finals offering another world-class opponent with a dangerous submission style. Denise returned to her confident guard play, cycling through de la riva and traditional half-guard variants. The match showcased Denise’s high-guard, ensnaring both of Ingridd’s arms and threatening armlock submissions. Unable to secure a tap, the match reached the full duration and came down to a referee decision. Denise Krahn earned the hard-fought decision victory to secure the European Championship title, surrounded by loyal supporters of the German athlete. Denise shocked the jiu-jitsu scene with a commanding performance at this year’s Euros, proving her skill and composure throughout.
