JKD und Kali Seminar mit Sifu/Guro Mark Stewart

Hallo, ich hoffe das ist ok das hier zu posten.

Sifu/Guro Mark hatte mich mal gefragt, ob ich Interesse hätte ein Seminar mit ihm hier in Deutschland zu hosten. Also wollte ich lediglich die Resonanz hören, wer Interesse dran hätte zu kommen , falls sowas stattfinden würde (hauptsächlich wegen den Kosten). :)

Termin steht natürlich noch nicht fest, weil ich erstmal schauen muss, ob überhaupt genug Leute dran interessiert wären.

Wenn, dann würde es so aussehen, dass Mark für 2 Tage Workshop macht, jeweils 4 Stunden. Preis habe ich mir vorgestellt 50€ für 1 Tag und 70€ für 2 Tage.

Liegt es z.B. am PLZ-Bereich, Preis, Anbieter, etc. p.p.?

@pseudo: Wichtig für dich ist ja auch eigentlich nur, wieviele mit JA abstimmen. Dementsprechend wird das Seminar wohl stattfinden oder nicht, right? :)

Sebastian, so ist es. Aber wenn ich auch feedbacks zu "nein" bekomme, kriege ich ein besseres Gefühl dafür, was die Leute für Vorstellungen haben. :)

SKD/WEAPONS SYSTEM HISTORY

In 1987 Ted Lucaylucay began to teach a small group of dedicated students at the Inosanto Academy in Marina Del Rey, CA. Among this group of students was Mark Stewart. Mark participated from 1987 to 1991. In 1991 Mark Stewart was awarded his instructor's certificate and went on to become an Executive Officer of Guro Ted's LK/JA Lucaylucay Kali/JKD. Mark subsequently trained with Lucaylucay on a private and semi-private basis until the passing of Guro Ted in March of 1996.

SKD/SUNGKITE KALI DERECHO

Knife, Stick and everyday objects may be used as weapons of self-defense and although a separate subject from, are quite interwoven with empty-hand methods or an extension thereof.

SKD or "Sungkite Kali Derecho" is a method with a strong Filipino root that includes influences from Western and Japanese fencing.

Sungkite is a term that may be defined as "hooking" but more accurately defines the close relationship of thrusting and slashing and how they work together. (To thrust with the slash and slash with the thrust.)

Kali may be interpreted many ways. In SKD it more accurately defines the ability to flow, "like a river".

Derecho is a term that means "direct" and refers to the emphasis on directness and efficiency in technique, in order to end the fight quickly.

SKD is an art that includes both drilling and freestyle sparring with padded weapons and safety gear. SKD also includes CQD/Mano-Mano techniques designed for defense against weapons and close quarter defense. SKD is directly inspired from Guro Ted’s Kali, with emphasis on "Obtik". Obtik is defined as the use of stepping, pivoting and sinking or raising to power and time the stroke.
