Yoga meditation teaches the student to become “one with the impersonal universe”. Yoga is a Sanscript word that literally means to become “One with God”. Through yoga and Zen meditation, the concept is to be absorbed into the universe. This in not the road to peace! We cannot find inner peace without first knowing the peace that can only come from the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.

God tells us time and time again in His Word that we are to be good stewards. While many preachers and pastors will preach on the importance of tithing and using our time for the Glory of God, many failed to mention that we should be good stewards of God’s temple as well. 1 Corinthians 6:19 says, “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's”. I believe God’s Word is clear that He expects us to take care of the temple He has entrusted us with. I have found the Martial Arts to be the best way I know to keep my temple in top form.
