A group of beauty school students who beat a would be robber with a table
leg, curling irons, and blow dryers is now asking the judge to go easy on
the man.
In June, Gipson, 25, walked into Balock's with an unloaded gun., ordered
everyone inside to lie of the floor and began to rob it. But one of the
students tripped him and others went after him beating him with whatever was
handy. He had to be taken to the hospital and had 21 cuts stitched up."
If sentenced as a habitual offender he is looking at 53 to 203 years in
prison. " Five years to ten years max," is enough the owner of Blalock's
said. " That is enough time for a young man to think about what he did."
