Also, Billy Talent hat ja ein Lied das heißt "Red Flag". Aber ich versteh den Sinn dieses Textes nicht. Ich höre normalerweise keine Lieder, die ich nicht verstehe.(weil ich das unterbelichtet finde) Dabei weis ich ja schon, dass es einen Sinn haben muss, nur ich kann ihn nicht deuten! Kann mir nicht einer helfen? Einiges versteh ich ja schon ... nur der Rest.

Ich kann das Lied ins Deutsche übersetzen, aber verstehen tue ich es trotzdem nicht.

boah! Tschuldigung, aber versteht denn kein einziger dieses Lied? Ich frage überall nach, aber nirgends antwortet mir jemand! Selbst ein bisschen Spam wäre erwünscht (danach kommen ja meist die klugen, auf das thema bezogenen kommentare)


sry, für den doppelpost! Aber das Lied ist doch richtig beliebt? Hören alle Menschen in Deutschland Musik, die sie nicht verstehen? Kein Wunder, dass AggroBerlin Erfolg hat :rolleyes: . Ach, ich zicke gerade etwas rum.


Meine bisherigen Vermutungen: (sorry für die Übersetzung, ich kann nicht so gut englisch (merkt man auch beim lesen), aber ich versuch´s einfach mal.)

"Lege die Krücke weg, die den Schmerz tötet,
die rote Flagge "weht(?)", meint niemals dasselbe,
Die Kinder von Morgen brauchen Heute nicht,
wenn sie in den Sünden von gestern leben."

Ähmmm ... vielleicht sollte die erste Zeile eine Metapha sein. Wir tun so, als sei alles okay, das ist unsere Krücke. Der Glauben, alles sei in Ordnung, obwohl man im Inneren weis das es nicht so ist, was dann die Wunde wäre (Man braucht ja nur eine Krücke, wenn man sich etwas gebrochen hat). Man stellt sich, indem man die Krücke weglegt. Dadurch verliert man den Glauben, dass alles so gut ist, wie es ist und man beginnt sich zu stellen und zu versuchen etwas zu verändern. (???)
Mit "rote Fahne" könnte der Staat gemeint sein. Ähmmm ... für diesen Zusammenhang und überhaupt habe ich noch nicht einmal eine (falsche) Vermutung.
Die Kinder (Heute/Jetzt) sind unsere Zukunft. Also die Kinder von Morgen(=Zukunft/in einigen Jahren). Sie müssten in unseren Sünden leben (Umweltverschmutzung?).
Sie brauchen heute nicht .... Also, dass wir heute vielleicht noch nciht erleben müssen, was wir mit der Umwelt anstellen. Heute tragen wir (noch) keine Konsequenzen, später schon. (???)

"Nein, sowie jetzt, habe ich uns noch nie benehmen gesehen,
Unsere einzige Hoffung ist der Verstand der Kinder.
Und sie zeigen uns etliches.
Unsere einzigen Waffen sind die "Pistolen(?)", der Jugend,
Es ist nur Zeit bevor sie die die Schlinge straff ziehen,
und dann wird die Jagd für dich eröffnet sein."

Wir haben keinen Respekt. Wir versäun´hier alles, und hoffen das die "Zukunft" uns hierbei herauszieht, anstatt selbst mal etwas zu tun. Aber wenn sie uns etwas zeigen, hören wir nicht zu. Wir vertrauen zusehr auf die Jugend, hören ihr aber nicht zu. So müssen sie alle unsere Fehler wieder gerade biegen. (???)
Für die letzten Zeilen habe ich auch keine Vermutung (???)

Vielleicht, dass wir alle Hindernisse überwinden können, und nur den Mut brauchen. Jeder sollte seine eigene Meinung sagen und sie sich nicht von anderen sagen lassen.

Wir sollen uns nicht von anderen abhängig machen, sondern selbst entscheiden (was wir wollen). Wir brauchen nicht das Gegenteil, von dem was wir wollen und haben. Aber wir brauchen etwas, das uns bestätigt. (???)

Also, das war jetzt meine Vermutung. Ich habe einige Lücken gelassen, für das was ich nicht verstehe. Kann nicht einer ergänzen? oder sagen, dass das und das von mir falsch ist/nicht stimmt (und was anderes erklären?)





Ich ändere das hier um zu sagen, dass die alten Leute echt keine Ahnung von Musik mehr haben!
