Ich habe ja schon bei einigen Kämpfern in der Biographie gelesen, dass sie einen Titel im S-Cup geholt haben (andy souwer z.b.) aber was genau ist der S-Cup bzw nach welchen Regeln wird dort gekämpft?

naja was shooto ist und was da so getragen wird, wusste ich ja bereits....aber ich habe ein Video gesehen, wo ein Thai mit Thaiboxshorts und Prajeads gekämpft hat.... Ist wusste nicht, dass das im Shooto erlaubt ist.

Shooto ist was anderes und das ist nur Shootboxing hat Elemente vom Vale Tudo drin...

kannst du den Satz mal ordnen?! Verstehe den Satz nicht .....

Ich lese daraud: Das ist "nur" shoot-Boxing und da werden Elemente von VT mit eingebracht.
Ich dachte Shooto ist ein leicht "sicherere" Variante von VT.

achja hatte vergessen, dass es im gegensatz zum shooto im shoot-boxing keinen bodenkampf gibt.

Shootboxing can be described as standing Vale Tudo, in that it allows a fighter to punch, kick, knee, elbow, throw and do standing submissions.

Shootboxing is well known for its fast-paced non-stop style of action, where fighters are not broken up at every clinch compared to other fighting styles.

Like Boxing, Shootboxers wear between 6 and 10-ounce gloves (depending on their weight). Whereas most stand up styles use shorts or pants, the distinguishing feature of Shootboxers is the skintight garment akin to tights, with each fighter donning his own design on it.

A fight can be won in several ways, namely by knock out, submission or points. Points can be scored from strikes, throws (shoot points) and attempted standing submissions (catch points). There are no draws in Shootboxing, so a fight carries on until there is a clear winner.
