Dear capoeiristas,

At Easter we will organize the 13th Batizado (baptism) of students from both our schools.
At the same time we will organize a capoeira workshop from April 18 until April 21, 2003.
Besides the capoeira trainings and rodas there will be parties with live music for dancing and relaxing.

Lodging will be provided, dinner will be available near the training place.
Please remember to bring your sleeping bags and something to sleep on like a little mattress.
It is not possible to use shoes with black soles in the training rooms.

The workshop trainings will be at:
Van Hogendorp Sportcentrum
Van Hogendorpstraat 921 Amsterdam (Westerpark)

You can reach the sport centre with bus 18 from Central Station (stop `Van Beuningenplein`) or take tram 10 (final stop: Van Hallstraat).

You can get an address of a sleeping place at the training place.

There will be teachers and masters from Europe and Brazil to ensure an inspiring meeting.
Our special guest is Mestre Leopoldina from Rio de Janeiro.
We hope you will have a good time, without big expenses.

On Saturday April 19 there is a big show with the masters, teachers and guest musicians at the Melkweg.

The costs of the workshop will be €100 per person, including lodging and party on Sunday and Monday.

IMPORTANT

Dear capoeirista, make this information reach other capoeiristas that may not receive our letter. Thank you.
Filming trainings and rodas is not allowed, except with permission from the organizers and the responsible teachers and masters.
It will not be possible to park the cars around the gymnasium without paying.
Outside the A 10 (`ring`) parking is free. Sunday and (Easter Monday) parking is free.
Public is only allowed on the afternoon of the batizado, Sunday April 20, from 16.00 hr-s.
The sleeping places are available from Friday 18 April in the morning until Monday 21 in the afternoon
Capoeiristas are welcome for the full workshop 3 or 4 days.
Friends and capoeiristas that come to watch also pay the full price….

Monday April 21 10:00 -16:00 training, 21:00 Goodbye Pagode


There will be trainings for beginners, intermediate and advanced students every day
Before starting to train, make your inscription and get your bracelet
The show on Saturday night will be in "De Melkweg" - Lijnbaansgracht 234a (near Leidseplein).
Tram nr 10, stop `Leidseplein`.
The other parties and dinner will be in Zaal 100, De Wittenstraat 100 in Amsterdam Westerpark.
