Hallo Panther,

Tommy Carruthers betreibt sein JKD-Kwoon in Glasgow/Schottland. Er gibt weltweit Seminare, zuletzt in Canada und in Shanghai. Auch in Deutschland hat er bereits ein Seminar gegeben und zu einer Demonstration war er vergangenes Jahr in der Schweiz.

Seine Lehrer sind unter anderem Jesse Glover, Ted Wong, Howard Williams und Tim Tackett.

Dieser Mann ist einfach mal überwältigend.
Das was ich von seiner HP gesehen hab (die clips vom
Seminar in Bonn), ist der Wahnsinn.
Am meisten war ich von seiner Geschwindigkeit beeindruckt.
Einfach mal genial.

Mehr kann ich dazu nicht sagen. ^^

Andreas meint die Tatsache, dass es anscheinend nicht genügend interessierte Leute/Teilnehmer in Deutschland gibt, die es rechtfertigen, ein weiteres Seminar mit Tommy in Deutschland zu veranstalten. Hatte mit Andreas diesbezüglich vor einigen Wochen schon kontaktet, weil ich auf ein TC-Seminar extrem große Lust hätte. Unter 20 Teilnehmer wird das aber finanziell nicht zu wuppen sein. Ob man die zusammenbekommt? Selbst bei den Glover-Seminaren in HH waren kaum mehr als 20 - 25 Leute da.

Da hast du meiner Meinung nach einen Volltreffer gelandet.
Eine Sache ist, dass Jesse R. Glover auf der einen Seite eine Legende ist - und trotzdem reagieren manche mit "Jesse wer ...?"

Bei Tommy ist es noch schlimmer. Als ich Tommy zum ersten Mal in Video-Aufnahmen gesehen hatte wunderte ich mich, warum er noch so relativ unbekannt ist. Als ich ihn kennenlernte dämmerte es ein wenig. Der ist verdammt gut - aber auch ziemlich bescheiden und nicht der Typ der seine Visitenkarte und seine Set-Cards überall hinstreut wo er geht. Hat er vielleicht auch nicht nötig auf der einen Seite, aber es wäre verdammt viel leichter ein Seminar mit ihm zu arrangieren, wenn er das tun würde, könnte man denken. Wenn das wiederum nicht auch den Preis hoch schaukeln würde.

Aber vielleicht spriecht es sich in den Foren rum, wer Tommy Carruthers ist ...

Tippe auf Arbeitsspeicher. Dafür müsste er glaub ich 8 oder 10mal piepsen. VGA-Karte 3 mal oder so. Zu lange her bei mir, aber ich verkauf meinen alten PC für 280 Euro :D

Hallo,

die Diagnose anhand der Anzahl der Piepstöne ist manchmal nicht immer zuverlässig. Bei einem Kollegen piepste es auch einmal unbegrenzt, es lag aber an der Grafikkarte. Musste in diesem Fall aber nur neu gesteckt werden.
Vielleicht solltest Du mal die Grafikkarte überprüfen? Diese Dinger haben schon oft Probleme verursacht. ;)
