MAKIWARA LOTION
Ingredients: 1 bottle of cheap sake (about 750 ml) Pure aloe gel, calendula gel or raw flower (flower is better, if you use gel, try to use one that has no additives or alcohol), comfrey root (raw herb).
1. Decant about 1/4 of the sake from the bottle and save (to make
room for the ingredients.
2. Crush the comfrey if needed to fit in bottle and add to sake in bottle.
3. Keep the calendula flower intact if possible and add it to the bottle.
4. Heat up the aloe in a microwave (low heat, just enough to liquidize it) and add to mix.
5. Add in the remaining sake to fill bottle.
6. Seal and wait 1-2 days for everything to mix and the alcohol in the sake will leech out the herbal good stuff. Mix frequently during this time.
That’s it! You can add things like vitamin E if you want. I do not strain the herbs from the bottle, but you can put cheese cloth over the lid when dispensing it.
Happy punching!
