Ende Januar 2009 findet ein Kyokushin-Karateseminar statt.
Ein besonderes highlight wird der Besuch des Shihan Seiji Kanamura 8th Dan Kyokushin Karate .
Einer , oder der ersten Schüler von Oyama
Da das genaue Datum noch nicht feststeht, würde ich euch bitten, mich bei Interesse anzurufen oder anzuschreiben.
Ich bin Schüler von Meister Min-Bum aus München und helfe ihm dabei das ganze zu organisieren.

Shihan Seiji Kanamura
8th Dan Kyokushin Karate
Born 1944 - Tokyo Japan, Shihan Kanamura started Kyokushin Karate under Mas Oyama in 1958. Shihan Kanamura came to the United States in 1971 at the request of Sosai Mas Oyama to teach Kyokushin Karate in the New York area. Prior to that time, Shihan Kanamura was a special student of Mas Oyama and was the head instructor in the honbu (headquarters dojo) in Tokyo, Japan.
Shihan Kanamura was the head coach of the USA Kyokushin Karate team for the 1975 and 1979 open karate tournament in Tokyo, Japan. Shihan Kanamura teaches Kyokushin Karate in the New York City area and is also a professor of sport science at Long Island University.
Professor Kanamura received his B.S. Degree from Miji University where he also completed two years of a postgraduate program in Food Chemistry. He began practicing Kyokushin karate in his native Japan. For many years he studied with the founder of Kyokushinkai, Master Masutatsu Oyama. From 1967 until 1971 he was an Instructor in the Kyokushinkai Headquarters in Tokyo. Today, Prof. Kanamura is among the highest ranking Kyokushinkai practitioners in the world. Upon arrival in the USA he began to teach in Brooklyn, New York as well as in other countries: 1974 - Hawaii, 1977 - Venezuela, 1977 - Brazil, 1979 - Canada, 1983 - Italy, etc. Prof. Kanamura is the recipient of many prestigious awards including Best Technique Award from Japan. Presently, Prof. Kanamura is an Adjunct Professor at Long Island University.
