The following report was written by Matt Boone of MMANews.com:

Pedro Rizzo def. Tra Telligman via ref stoppage in Round 2.

Was said to be a very good back-and-forth battle. Tra knocked Rizzo
down in the first round. Fight was stopped to check a cut on Rizzo,
but was continued. Second round fight stopped to check a cut on
Telligman, but also continued. Brawling back and forth all round 2
until Tra took a sick knee that caused a lot of blood to pour giving
Pedro the win via referee stoppage.

Falaniko Vitale def. Matt Lindland via KO in round 1.

Matt Lindland quickly went for a belly-to-belly suplex on Vitale,
but on the landing, he knocked himself out cold. Vitale quickly
jumped on a knocked out Lindland and threw one good punch before the
referee jumped in giving Vitale a major upset win over "The Law" in
Round 1.

Frank Mir def. Wes Sims via disqualification Round 1.

Frank Mir gets a solid choke on Wes Sims early, Sims doesn't tap,
but gets choked out for a while. Mir controls the majority of the
first round. Wes Sims loses by disqualification. Sims stomped Mir
several times illegally causing major swelling on Mir's eyes. Very
brutal.

Winner via disqualification: Frank Mir

Vernon White drew with Ian Freeman after 3 rounds.
30-27 White, 29-28 Freeman, 29-29 Draw

Said to be an incredible fight. Lots of action. Mostly back and
forth, with most thinking Vernon White had a slight advantage at the
end of the bout. Nonetheless, a draw for Freeman and White.

Vitor Belfort def. Marvin Eastman via KO in round 1.

"The handcuffs are off, the old Vitor will be back"
-Vitor Belfort

"The Phenom" held true to his words by unleashing a fury of punches
in a whicked combination that pummeled Marvin Eastman giving Vitor
the win via explosive first round knockout. Eastman was a bloody
mess afterwards.

Marvin Eastman suffered one of the sickest cuts in MMA history at
the vicious hands of "The Phenom" Vitor Belfort.

Belfort landed a very big knee that landed flush on Eastman causing
him to visit never-never land. From there, Belfort exploded with a
combination of punches that opened Eastman up bad.

The cut was said to be nearly an inch thick, and one of the worst,
if not the worst, cut in UFC history. We will keep you updated on
Eastman's progress.

Yves Edwards def. Eddie Ruiz via decision after 3 rounds.
30-27, 30-27, 30-27 Yves Edwards

Eddie Ruiz has a serious chin. Ruiz took a sick kick, several big
knees, and got caught up in some tight submissions. He never stopped
coming, and showed a lot of heart, but Yves dominated him
masterfully.

Kimo Leopoldo def. Tank Abbott via submission in round 1.

Very quick fight, not a crowd pleaser at all. Kimo had Tank locked
up for a while, and Tank finally tapped from a choke. Kimo upsets
Tank, continuing Tanks losing streak and dropping him under .500 in
UFC competition.

Randy Couture def. Chuck Liddell via TKO in round 3.

Feel out for the beginning of round 1. Couture lands a huge slam on
Liddell, to the surprise of most. Couture gets another big takedown.
Liddell has one of the best takedown defenses in the division too,
that's saying a lot. Close round so far, slight edge for Couture who
is seemingly comfortable standing with "The Iceman". Good first
round, goes to Randy.

Couture lands a solid punch to Liddell's face in the early part of
round 2. Many are surprised at how good Couture is dealing with
Liddell's stand-up. Couture lands another set of big punches.
Couture is really dominating so far. His last two fights were
misleading in the same way, with Couture doing well early on. Will
be interesting to see if he can hang on. Another good jab, Couture
is dictating the pace here in a big way. Randy gets another big
takedown. His conditioning is still looking pretty good, with 3
rounds left to go in this title fight. Chuck gets a good reversal
and is grounding and pounding away on Couture until the buzzer
sounds to end round 2. Round two was another good round, likely
another for "The Natural".

Liddell comes out for round 3 with a busted nose and bruised up a
bit. Couture is again doing well again standing, slamming an
uppercut to Liddell that lands flush. Randy Couture just pummeled
Liddell with a huge hook, surprising that it didn't knock him out.
Now Couture is controlling Liddell in the clinch. This is very one-
sided, even in the stand up department, with Couture on top in a big
way. Couture lands another big slam on Liddell. Couture is grounding
and pounding away at Liddell who is taking a brutal beating. Couture
gets the win, via TKO.

After the fight, Randy Couture challenges Tito Ortiz to try and come
take his new UFC Light Heavyweight title.
