"Tommy has had many fights over the years. He has worked in some of the roughest bars in Scotland. Bar where people fight and get hurt every week. Many people misjudged him because of his size and they got hurt pretty bad, As for fighting trained opponents we were in an eating place in Glasglow and he mention to the waiter that I was Bruce Lee's first student. The waiter ask him if he knew a kick boxing champion. Tommy said that he knew the guy and that the guy was an ass. Tommy said that the guy had come into his school and wanted to spar with him Tommy said that he didn't spar but the guy kept pressing him until he pissed tommy off and he agreed to spar. The guy thought that Tommy was going to jump around and do a lot of faking. Tommy just moved in and folded the guy with a side kick. The guy had come with another highly ranked kick boxer who felt that he had to redeem the art and jumped in tommy put him down with a side kick to the body. Neither of the guys could get up right away and he told them when the could get up to get their asses out of his school. The thing about Tommy is that he really doesn't care what people think. As far as he is concerned he would just as soon not have his name mentioned. In regards to Bruce I saw him take out a very good Karate man in eleven seconds. He cracked the guys skull from over the eye down into the cheekbone. The guy was down and out for a long time before he could move. I have a friend and student who went into a tournament of underground fighters they had two group in his weight class one was for new fighters and the other was for Pros. He knockout all three of his opponents in the pro group. He did this to test what he had learned but he is not into prove anything to anyone other than himself. In a real fight people don't pull their punches kicks of finger jabs to the eyes. They also don't get in stances they just attack from where they at. When Tommy did his demo in Seattle a lot of people didn't like it because he didn't jump around and he landed half power shots that hurt his attacking opponent. Tommy has the kind of power that can crack a skull or stop a heart but he really would appreciate if people would just leave him alone. He is not at all interesting proving anything to anybody."
