Dear Prof. Kozludzhov, dear honorable Professores of Plovdiv university,
please let me introduce myself:
My name is Dr. Cord Elsner - I have studied Physics and Chemistry at the well-known Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany and am a doctor of natural science (Dr. rer. nat. – the link to my PhD-thesis:
Ultrakurzzeitspektroskopie zum Schaltverhalten substituierter Diarylethene).
I write to you on behalf of a big community of martial artists in Germany. Our passion is Wing-Tsun- / Wing-Chun-Kung-Fu and therefore we are very interested in the work of Mr. Keith Kernspecht, especially his PhD-thesis (he filed at the Plovdiv university).
As it is known from the EWTO-website (see link below):
www.wingtsunwelt.com
Mr. Kernspecht had his PhD-defense (disputation) in Sofia on June, 17th in 2009 and since then claims to be “doctor of science”.
Additionally Mr. Kernspecht claims to be „Professor emeritus“ – a title which he recently gained by Paisij Hilendarski university and which he translates on the EWTO-website as “honorable professor” and not like normally translated “retired professor” (see link below):
www.wingtsunwelt.com

Unfortunately no one in Germany, who wants to take a look at the thesis, has seen his PhD-thesis so far. There are no documents (thesis, public records, …) or what so ever, by which the title “PhD or Professor emeritus” are approved. So the titles “PhD” and “Professor emeritus” are not documented or traceable and unfortunately every questions to the EWTO concerning thesis or titles are not answered.
Furthermore there is no hint in the world wide web or on the webpage of the university Plovdiv, where the thesis (ca. 300 pages of text) can be downloaded. This seems to be quite unusual in the world of sciences since every university worldwide has download-links to the PhD-theses of their students on their webpages or on the library webpages of the university.
As we all know the “international accepted code/standard of sciences” is to publish PhD-theses, so everyone worldwide can read them. So the thesis adds to “the state of the art”.
So our question to you are:
1. Could you please be so kind to confirm to us the PhD-title of Mr. Kernspecht?
2. Could you please be so kind to confirm that he recently gained the title “professor emeritus” and that the meaning of the title is “honorable professor” and not “retired professor” as he states on the webpage
www.wingtsunwelt.com ?
3. Could you please be so kind to send the PhD-thesis (PDF) via email or to send a download-link or a link (on your university website or library website), where we or everyone else who is interested can take a look at the thesis.
I hope we all share the passion for transparency in all fields of sciences. So please be so kind to help me out in the above mentioned topics.
Thank you in advance and best regards,
Dr. Cord Elsner
