I think people should be very happy that there will be a UFC event organized in Oberhausen. It is the perfect chance for german fighters to get more publicity and get their "foot between the door" in the biggest fight promotion. This will make mma, grappling, bjj grow in germany, it will be good for the gyms which will then be also be very good for the "normal" guy/girl who trains for fun.
Maybe big events like this will also change the medias view on the sport when the promotion does not give up on germany and keeps promoting events and doing PR in the country.
Also the card is not bad, there are some match ups that will be good to watch! The show in itself is also great with a great atmosphere. I found the ticket prices for the last event in Germany very good, you can not really expect to pay 20-30 euro and hope to get great seats on an event staged by the biggest mma organization in the world.
I think it is a perfect chance for MMA fans in Germany and other european countries to support MMA and go to the event and enjoy some good fights and a great atmosphere! But that's just my opinion.
